Love
What the World Needs Now
Some would argue that the clothing world is full of hate and darkness, evil and greed, a compassionless world where survival of the fittest rules. In this clothing-obsessed world, nudism is all about sex with clothed-people claiming that nudists are immoral and the human body must be criminalized and nudists shamed. Indeed, many good people believe this. The clothing world’s got it all wrong. Nudism is about spreading hope and joy. It’s about creating an innocent world where our bodies are treated with respect and appreciated. Nudism is all about love.
What the world needs now is love, sweet love.
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of.
--lyrics by Burt Bacharach and Hal David
This inspiring call for love was sung by Jackie DeShannon, Dionne Warwick, The Supremes, and almost every one of us at one time or another. It’s a beautiful, aspirational song. It could be the nudist anthem, a call to spread happiness and kindness throughout the land, for all to come together by taking off their clothes. Nudism, like love, will improve the human condition and make the world a better place, a nudist quilt of beauty and delight that we can lay it atop the burning flames of hateful bigotry and scorn.
Nudity is the sincerest show of tolerance and humanity we can share with strangers. Nudism opens up the world to wonder, it’s a gift box of curiosity and imagination. It does everyone good. It releases us from rage and misery. It makes people happy and leaves them feeling, spectacular-- the same thing love does.
There is no stronger love than between a mother and child, no judgement of ugliness or fear of being naked. Best described in Raphael’s paintings of Madonna and Child; nudist Baby Jesus, with his serene expression, completely lost in love, represents what nudism is all about.
It’s hard to show love. We can buy gifts and say flattering things, but these are only for people we are close to. Nudism is a way to show love to the entire world. It’s unselfish, we’re sharing ourselves and asking nothing in return. We’re brightening people’s day, many times pulling them out of despairing thoughts and negativity. Nudists ask nothing and give so much.
From Moscow to Minneapolis, we see the forces of hate exploding around us. While at the same time, nudism is faltering. Nudists are described as bad people by a society spiraling downward. We are a dwindling force. Nudists need to apply the brakes. The world needs love, and nudism is a way to produce it.
Nudists have a special connection. It’s old and young coming together. All of life’s battle scars on full display. Our vulnerabilities and weaknesses are out in the open. No judgement, just appreciation. It’s a loving community that we need to share with the world.
There may be different governments and different TV channels, but love is universal. Love is the essential glue for uniting people across the planet. Love brings people together, it keeps families strong, it builds safe communities. Love is a magic potion that makes life worth living. Nudism shares the secret formula.
Like love, our bodies are universal. Clothing hides our similarities and keeps us apart. Nudists spread love by showing we are all one, more similar than different. Our bodies are our canvas, spreading the message that we are the same, we can be trusted, we come in peace.
The question should not be, “Why are you a nudist?” but, “Why aren’t you a nudist?” Going against nudism is like going against love, and who would ever do that?

Genisouls, you're very right and I could not agree more... the world needs universal love, more than ever. Hope you're save, take care.
